Breakfast is included in the price of the room and is a typical continental-style, fresh bread and pastries, a large selection of jams, cereals, yogurts and fruits. Freshly- made tea, coffee and chocolate are provided as well as fruit juices. We will always try to meet any special dietary requirements. Please let us know if there are any allergies we should be aware of. If you have a more hearty appetite for breakfast then we are happy to make omlettes, scrambled eggs or pancakes at a small suppliment.
We have a large vegetable garden and wherever possible we use freshly picked ingredients, we try to buy everything else from local markets or local producers.
Dinner at Le Moulin Pastelier starts with an aperitif, a drink of your choice typically served with olives, dried sausage and a selection of other canapes.
Food is always seasonal, for an example of a
- SPRING - Wild Asparagus Risotto followed by Spring Lamb in a Red wine and Rosemary Jus.
- SUMMER -Salad of Fig, Rocket and Roquefort followed by Moules Mariniere.
- AUTUMN - Roasted Pumpkin Soup followed by Toulouse Sausage with a Bleu Auvergne Mash.
- WINTER - Red Onion and Gryere Tart followed by Beef Bourginon
The cheese course features a selection of our favourite French cheeses, such as Beaufort, Brillat Savarin and Ossau Iraty.
Dessert is made with fresh seasonal ingredients, Poached Peaches, a Crumble of Blackberries and Apple or perhaps a slice of Chocolate, Pear and Almond Fondant.
